Classical High School in Providence has been named one of the top 500 public high schools in the United States by U.S. News & World Report, continuing the school's tradition of academic excellence.

A bill that would create education savings accounts allowing parents to use state education funds for private school tuition, homeschooling, and other educational expenses is gaining traction in the Rhode Island General Assembly.

Superintendent Jeannine Nota-Masse is requesting the maximum allowable 4% increase in property tax revenue for the 2026-2027 school year to address pressing needs ranging from updated technology to expanded mental health services.
